Meet Brittney Fells, 28, a Cleveland native who is the Owner of Bee Fells Creative LLC, a graphic design company also based in Cleveland, Ohio.
MMR: What is the background to how Bee Fells Creative LLC started?
Bee: I went to college for graphic design and marketing & communications, but my day job was not utilizing my skill set. I started a side business doing freelance graphic design in my free time, and it brought me so much fulfillment. I then saw the need of branding strategy services for other startup businesses as well. Thus, Bee Fells Creative LLC was born.
MMR: Who is your professional and/or personal inspiration behind what you do?
Bee: My mother. She is a single mother of three, with four degrees, and runs her own business. I have always wanted to be like her, and watching her step out on faith in her own career gave me confidence to do the same.
MMR: If you can describe what makes your business/craft so unique by using one word, what would it be?
Bee: Inspiring!
MMR: What words of encouragement do you have for aspiring women entrepreneurs?
Bee: Always have an action plan. Whether you’re just starting up or an established business, always have a plan for your goals and milestones to help you stay motivated and on task.
