Appreciate A Black Man Day

MAN OF THE MONTH :: ANTHONY BODY

Anthony Body, a native of Cleveland Ohio, has made it his mission to help clean his community, bring awareness to his community, and be the voice and the influence his community needs for change. Anthony is a graduate of Glenville High School. He completed his undergraduate coursework at Malone University and is currently working on a Master’s in Public Administration at Cleveland State University’s Levin School of Urban Affairs. After college, Anthony returned to his neighborhood to work at Famicos Foundation as the Community Engagement Specialist and did lots of great community organizing work in the Glenville Community.

Currently, Anthony works for the Northeast Ohio Regional Sewer District as the Good Neighbor Ambassador Supervisor, a program that is designed to engage and inform residents in areas where NEORSD has construction projects and provide neighborhood support, beautification projects and job opportunities/training for residents in the areas affected by the construction projects. Anthony is passionate about the Glenville community and the city at large, he even sits on the Cleveland Community Police Commission; a commission formed as part of the city’s agreed-upon reforms with the Department of Justice.

That is why Anthony Body is our feature for #AppreciateaBlackManDay Man of the Month. It is important to show appreciation to the men who are working to make a difference.  Appreciate a man who has a purpose to help others.

We salute you Anthony!
