Hey Beauties!
Jas here and I have to tell you all about my new favorite foundation. So we all want to know that when we spend money on a high end foundation (or any makeup at all) that we are getting our money’s worth. There is nothing worse than buying a $45 foundation that blends horribly, looks like mud half way through the workday, and can’t withstand a little natural oil. Me being an oily-skinned beauty myself, I often find myself buying and returning products because within an hour my “super awesome forever and ever matte finish” looks more like I spent an hour at the gym and ended with a fifteen minute sauna session. So, the other day I took a leap of faith and I purchased the Lancome Teint Idole Ultra 24H Long Wear Foundation. At $47, I said, “this stuff better have me looking photoshoot ready the entire day and then some!”
I decided to put this stuff to the test and honestly … I COULDN’T BE MORE SATISFIED!
Ladies, I LOVE this foundation. I put it on around 8:00 am and I didn’t remove it until about 1:00am the next day.
The first time I used it I noticed that my skin felt super smooth and silky with the product on. It looked gorgeous and after an hour I wasn’t oily at all! So far so good. However this wasn’t the ultimate test. The real test came at 6:00 pm, my torturous bootcamp class (shout out to Fit Body Boot Camp!). I went in there face on fleek and ready to kill calories. The entire class I was hoping that my face wasn’t melting off and that the other women in the class weren’t judging me for my melting face. After class, I looked and I was amazed! Face fully in tact. In fact, the only problem area was the top of my forehead where most of the sweat was. So I blotted and went home.
Last test (only because it is advertised as 24H makeup) was doing a quick touch up and wearing the same face out to a comedy show that night. All I did was touch up my forehead, change my lippie, light oil blotting and go. Ladies this foundation held up for the rest of the night!
Now, I don’t expect to do this again. Usually I like to wash my face and redo it for a night out, especially after a workout. But, if you’re looking for a great high end foundation that is worth your hard earned money, I highly recommend Lancome Teint Idole 24H Ultra Long Wear foundation. You can buy it online on the Lancome website or at your local Sephora. I suggest Sephora so you can try it on. Or you can go to findation.com and find your recommended shade. Hopefully you beauties find the foundation that allows you to slay all day!
