Monisa Mason is the Community & Business Coordinator for the John Marshall High School of Civic & Business Leadership and a current Bridge Board member for the Boys & Girls Clubs of Cleveland. Over the years, she has been very active in the community, from being the Assistant Editor for the Talk of Cleveland Magazine, co-founding a networking group called Dollhouse, creating youth programs with organizations such as the Salvation Army and the Boys & Girls Club to guest speaking at community events, moderating panels with the Ohio Hip Hop Awards and event hosting and planning. Monisa has an undergraduate degree in Communications and Journalism and a graduate degree in Entertainment Business. She has been writing since she was a child and if you follow her on social media, you will see that Monisa loves to express herself, inspire others and pique the interest of her followers through different popular and/or controversial topics. As a single, young professional, African American woman with a child, Monisa definitely understands and can relate to the needs and interests of the My Melanin Rocks! audience.
